CBF Service Lines

The Capacity Building Facility has established three main service lines to respond in a coordinated and flexible fashion to the immediate capacity building and reform needs of the PISG.

In addition to the transfer of relevant technical skills to civil servants, the CBF approach focuses on assisting civil servants to become active and engaged elements of positive change and reform, by enhancing their leadership skills; this involves promoting results-based change management and accountability, initiative and risk-taking, and thinking as well as acting “outside the box”.

Thus, an innovative CBF coaching methodology was developed which provides, at the outset of an assignment, an intensive immersion course in applying the methodology to all CBF Coaches and Advisors.
